[About 4 months ago, a lot of stuff happened. Well, maybe not so much, but world history was told, lesbian subtext was had, and Taki and Arisa fought out their ideals in true Anime style.] (You mean badass with plenty of posing and cloth-ripping?) (Well, also, talking about philosphy when you should be killing.) (Yes.) (Utena/Gundam-esque, that.) (No, not Utena fighting, we had blood) (Alright! I held the desc until the first pingout.) [They have just entereed the camp of the Bluewood forest humans, and saw Krystal, without Maggie, her apprentice. Apparently, they want to go. Aww. And after Julie just got there.] [The dancers are dancing, although as said last time, some of them seem to have conked out, or disappeared to... elsewhere. And now that our two lovely ladies know where they are...] [WNN, Session 6, Start!] * Taki walks directly to Krystal and states: "You wanted to see us before we went." * Arisa peeks over at Krystal sheepishly and smiles, giving her a deep silent bow. (And yes she's wearing the robe over the gul'tari.) [Sheila and Julie follow, of course. Aren't they nice? Sheila looks a little unhappy. Probably because her new friend is going. She's, uh, simple like that, ain't she?] [Krystal glances at Arisa's bow, then chuckles to herself and looks at Taki. "So both of you are going, are ya? That's too bad. Not even a chance to dance." She shakes her head overdramatically.] I do not dance. If Arisa wishes to, she may walk back and if anything has been learned while we were gone, it will be repeated when she gets back. [Julie chuckles to herself at Krystal.] * Arisa pouts to Taki. "That is rather unfair, Miss Shimiru. Besides, I'm certain it would be unfair to Julie as well." She flashes her a charming smile. (Her = Julie?) [Sheila continues to look unhappy, but a pensive look is coming across her face As if something has worked her way into her brain that she's nervous about.] (Yes) Julie can make her own choice to stay or go. [Julie blinks at Arisa, then shakes her head. "I apparently have something to prove to Arisa that involves dancing."] ["D'hate to dissapoint her." A small grin crosses her face.] * Arisa grins a little at Julie. "I knew you'd come around." She then sighs. "But unfortunately, I should be in another outfit before I choose to dance. This robe is far too bulky in that respect." (I think Arisa is on a quest to collect one set of clothing from every race.) * Taki looks at Julie. "Then you will walk with Arisa..." She turns to Arisa. "Who I am not taking back and returning here simply to change her clothes." Then I suppose I shall have to visit another time... * Arisa shakes her head. "Honestly, Miss Shimiru. You are impossible." * Taki snorts. [Julie nods. "Yeah, but you can't argue with results. And, well, I'm not going to dance myself, anyway."] [Krystal mms, then says, "Well, then we should not keep you. I'm certain you will be able to return sometime. You will be welcome among every group of humans we meet, as no doubt what you have done will travel fast."] It trully was not THAT much, but thank you. [Julie... er... well, it sorta looks like she rolls her eyes. Exasperation, check.] * Taki shrugs. "Was that all you wanted?" (...Damn it Cham, how am I supposed to brode and be bitchy with you playing Dahli at me?) [Sheila looks between Taki and Krystal as Krystal nods and says, "I believe so. It is--" "I want to go with them!", Sheila hastily interrupts.] * Arisa smiles. "I figured as much." She turns to look at Taki. "Taki?" * Taki turns to look at Sheila. "As I said, the numbers do not matter to me." [Krystal gives Sheila a look. An old woman look. An old human shaman woman look. If that eyebrow got any higher, it would be off her head.] [Sheila smiles as Taki says, 'Okay', in the way only Taki can, and then looks back at Krystal, who shrugs and says, "If you wish, child. I am sure your former training will help them, should they decide to do anything." She glances at the dancers, then back at Sheila. "I will tell them you went along."] * Arisa looks at Sheila. "But we'll have to dress you properly before long..." (And Rowyn checks out the barely decent human woman, but we won't hold that against him.) (It's male KILLIT! KILLITDEAD!) (Kersnort.) [Sheila looks at Arisa and pouts. "I dress just fine, thank you!"] [Julie doesn't seem to believe her.] * Arisa just smiles slightly and pats Sheila on the head. Pat pat. Now that we're done, I have an axe to collect and return. [Krystal bows at what seems to be all of you in general, and says, "Come back whenever you wish. And may the winds guide you, water carry you, earth shield you, and fire warm you in your journeys."] [Sheila seems a little pouty at being pat-patted, but bows back at Krystal, before giving the old woman a hug, which surprises her, but doesn't cause her to flail or anything.] (... I know there is no answer to this question, but was that a saying on this world before you saw our powersets?) (There is no answer to that question, however, considering the 4-element nature of the world, I'd imagine so. Er, that is, if the world really existed in depth before I saw your charsheets.) * Taki turns around and walks to where Sheila probibly dropped the axe. (Since I sorta made it up on the spot, it really is unanswerable.) (Hey, YOU'RE the one who was playing with the axe!) (and then sent her to go get it, a toarch and a spear... and I thought Keika was the demanding one. ;P) (You surprise even yourself sometimes.) [Taki finds 1 : Ru'Hak Stone Axe. It's just as bad, and by bad I mean jesus christ do they have to make these things out of solid stone, as it always was.] * Arisa nods to Krystal. "And to you as well..." She smiles and hefts her scythe up on her shoulders. "The winds always guide me though." [She smiles slightly, a little wryly. "I am sure they do." As Sheila follows Taki to get the axe, she mock-whispers, "I was going to tell the child to go anyway."] * Taki picks up the frigging heavy axe and grunts slightly as she does so. ["But if you would refrain from mentioning that to her, I would appreciate it. It might make her think I approve." The old woman's grin remains wry.] [Sheila, shockingly, seems pleased as she follows Taki! Bouncy happy human girl...] (Was that directed more towards Taki or Arisa? Krystal's comment?) (Arisa.) (Taki's moved.) * Arisa nods. "Of course." She smiles and whispers back. "We'll take good care of her. Do not worry." ["I've never really been inside the Earth peoples' city! This will be great!"] * Taki turns to face Sheila and walks back twords her. "There wasn't much to see." * Arisa stands up a little and then whispers to Julie. "We're already the talk of the town. I wonder how much this will do for us..." [Julie chuckles. "Just remember to take her to see that human researcher. He might spontaneously melt at the thought."] [Sheila frowns and says, "I bet there are things to see." If/As Taki walks by, she follows again. "You were just busy helping1"] * Arisa blushes and puts her hand over her mouth. "Ack! I'd almost forgotten about him!" (The player more than the character...aggue, 4 months is a long time ^^;) (That's OK.) Maybe. You'll find out for yourself. (His name was Ugr'pol'mar (Ugrar)) (If Arisa is good at remembering these names, that is.) (Not that one...he was a silly little man.) (Little being an operative word. Arisa was taller than him. ^_~) (...pretty sad if a half elf is taller than you) (Yes, I know.) (Unless it's a Tolkin Half Elf.) (Taki: Are you rejoin(ing/ed) the group?) [Julie grins. "Dunno how, that was still one great tease you flustered him with."] (That's the plan.) [Taki arrives at the waiting pair of red women, although one is a little more orange than red. Krystal has turned a little away, having already given her leaving blessing.] * Arisa pouts a little then half smiles. "He brought it on himself.." Are the two of you ready? * Arisa turns towards Taki. "Absolutely." [Julie laughs slightly and nods. "Sure, sure."] [Sheila just nods a little, big beaming happy smile. Yay!] * Taki slowly rests the head of the axe on the ground, "Then it is simple, each of you must ... hold onto me... if you touch me someplace I don't want you to, I hit you with this. After that is sorted out we will go. I will be making a short stop half way. Do all of you understand?" [Sheila and Julie nod slightly, Julie being a little amused by her added proclaimation. Sheila goes for the shoulder. Thankfully not with her teeth.] * Arisa smiles. To the point, that girl. She puts her hand on her arm and speaks softly. "Perfectly." * Taki looks at Julie, "If you are unsure, I would suggest my other shoulder." [Julie shrugs and tentatively reaches out to Taki's shoulder. When it doesn't, er, freeze her to death, she grabs on. Luckily for you, Julie's not on fire either, so woots all around.] (Got dice?) (Do now.) (No penalties for going back to the rock now right?) (Not particularly, Do you _normally_ have trouble transporting 4?) (None) (Then go right ahead. It's dark, so you don't have line of sight, but you do know where you're going, in theory.) (It's just there were distanace penalties on the way out because she was guessing. Just making sure.) 2d6-3 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Taki (2d6-3) and gets 4. * Taki says "now," and they arn't in the village any more, but standing near a large rock Sheila might have seen before. 2d6-3 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Taki (2d6-3) and gets 3. [Julie and Sheila seem a littlee surprised at the change of perspective. Sheila's hand tightens, while Julie's only squeezes for a second before she forces it to relax.] * Arisa slowly lets go once she is settled and stumbles a bit. "Wow. That's rather...um...disorienting." (Ha ha. Er, Arisa? This isn't a one stage jump.) ...We're only half way there Arisa. Get back here. * Arisa sighs and puts her hands on her hips, looking hard on Taki. "This magic has made it so you do not wish to walk anywhere, doesn't it?" * Arisa shakes her head but retakes her position at her hand. * Taki rolls her eyes and the rock is replaced by the circle room in the city of stone. "I walk when I must, but seeing as there is no longer anybody I care about knowing I don't have too, why not?" (So Guna's house, now?) (Yes, the same place he called us, so Julie's dad should still be in there.) (But us not in there with him) (I'm pretty sure he's gone.) (I certainly hope he was transfered to a more secure place or I'm going to have to kill people) * Arisa finally lets go. "Because it is lazy. You'll never hope to be skilled if you rely on trickery so much." She takes her scythe and walks further in. "Guna? Guna!" * Taki shakes herself loose from the others and walks to the table of weapons to drop off her axe. [There is no response. The house has minimal lighting, plentny for Arisa to see by, and... well, enough for Taki to nagivate by if she's careful.] [Taki can sure drop off axes with the best of them. Sheila, meanwhile, is wide-eyed at the whole scene.. that she can see, anyway.] * Arisa searches the house. "Guna? Frubi! Are you here?" (Not using their full names? ^_~) (Or should I sub?) (Or their real short names?) (Their real short names for now) [Arisa finds no Guna and no Frubi. And no Gubi or Fruna either, but that's good.] * Taki walks to the doorway and looks back at the dark form that's probibly Sheila, "This way. It sounds like Arisa is looking for our hosts." [Julie stands there, then yawns. "I bet they are still at their celebration."] [Sheila nods a little and says, "This place has so much... stuff. Do Earth people really live here?" * Arisa frowns and calls again. "Gru'halq'na. Fru'biop'wau. Are either of you here?" She pouts. "You're probably right. Is the celebration that long-lasting?" As long as we're here, let's look for clothes for our human friend... * Arisa heads off to look for clothes! (Clothes were in the main room, last you played with them.) * Taki points into the room, "That table." [Julie chuckles. "How would I know? I've never been to an Ru'Hak celebration except for today, and it is a big celebration." She then sighs. "War being over and all that."] * Arisa digs through for clothes, also looking for one for herself. "Is there a place to bathe or som--" She frowns hard at Julie's comment. "You have to stop that. It wasn't you who were responsible." * Taki deadpans. "Horay for us." * Arisa continues to look for clothes. "I do wonder the results of Frubi's research though.." [Julie just looks at Arisa for a second before walking off down one of the darkened hallways. Sheila quirks her head. "Research? Was she researching how to make things better?" ] That depends on your definition of better. [Sheila says, "That sounds like something Krystal would say. Better is better."] * Taki gives a bitter laugh. "Go help Arisa find something to wear. I am going to sleep." * Taki walks out of the main room, and with one hand on the wall, tries to remember how to get to the bedroom. [Sheila frowns slightly, then says, "Okay, Takishimiru... restful night..."] * Arisa waits till Taki's out of earshot without turning around and says to Sheila, "Don't mind her. She's always curt like that." [Sheila pouts slightly and turns to Arisa. "Her and Jewelpmackgoobe both."] Jul'pmak'guby. * Arisa sighs and looks up from looking through the clothes. "And the comparison is far from similar." [Sheila nods. "Juul'pmak'goobee. And they're both really really moody. I even gave her a back rub." She hmphs.] Jul is still upset about her father. And Miss Shimiru... [Taki, Julie is sitting on one of the three rock-beds, once you get there. You can tell. She's glowing a little. Benefits of being a fire elemental, one might suppose.] * Arisa sighs slightly. "I'm still not entirely certain what is wrong with her. It must be tragic."] [Then again, she might just leave you alone if you're quiet...] (Should we split?) (Shrug. I'm okay.) (Unless either of you is gonna leave the house, it shouldn't be hard to track. ^_~) (Also, Arisa, had you forgot you JUST took a hot springs bath, like, an hour ago?) (I mean, okay, you sweatied it up with Taki, but still.) * Taki rubs the scarred side of her face "Matresses... I forgot to get... ." She climbs onto one of the other beds and attempts to get comfortable. [Sheila mms a little, then walks a little towards Arisa, who is searching clothing.] (Yes, but it's more for Sheila than Arisa. ^^; Is she clean?) (She was in the bath with Taki.) (Sheila took a bath too. So she's only as dirty as he clothes got her.) (Which is probably still dirty enough ;P Elves are neat freaks!) [Julie seems to look up, if you're looking at her, Taki, and gives a faint, weak chuckle before saying, "It's probably not so bad."] * Arisa glances slightly over her shoulder as she looks through the clothes. "Yes?" (Is it?) [It's still rock. Maybe a shade or four better than concrete. Luckily, it's not too cold, so at least that's not a problem.] [She says, "I can't really, um, see where I'm going. So I'm just gonna stay here so I don't break anything."] * Arisa smiles. "I don't mind. In the city, I prefer the company." She sighs. "I feel so out of sorts in these "civilized" towns." * Taki rolls onto her back. "If I'm still here tomarrow, I will get them to find me one, or make me one, or give me something to make one out of if it comes to that. Good night." [Sheila says, "Civilized towns?" Julie just nods a little and says, "Until the morning."] I feel more at home in the forest, among the plants and the streams and the... * Arisa sighs longingly. [Sheila smiles a little. "I always lived in the forest and the plants. But this place seems so... nice. Even warm."] * Taki doesn't respond to Julie, but a few moments later she rolls onto her other side. I suppose... * Arisa picks up an outfit at random and shows it to Sheila. "How's this?" (For Arisa or for Sheila?) (For Sheila) (Although Sheila can think whatever she wants. Misunderstandings are fun ^_~) ( Cerulean? So not my color.) [And Arisa has piiiiicked... a lovely Frubi-sized shirt, which is to say, it's a lot more like a long dress that's perhaps a bit wide, even, for either of you, epecially Sheila.] [Sheila: "Wow, that's big... um, are you sure?"] [Taki - Julie breathes. Yep. Breathing. And otherwise except for that, it's pretty quiet.] * Arisa looks down at it. "Mmm...perhaps something smaller, yes?" She smiles. "You have a petite body after all." She searches some more. [Sheila blinks, then frowns. "My clothes are fine! I made them myself!"] * Taki rolls over again in her futile struggle to sleep. (Hot. Breathing. Action!) (Ha, yes.) * Arisa smiles supportively at Sheila. "And just how much attention DO you wish to call to yourself here, Sheila?" [Julie's breathing is sorta erratic. Stupid inability to sleep for Taki.] [Sheila blinks. "Well, um... I'll probably get a lot of attention."] Yes. And even more if you're improperly clothed. ["Improperly? My clothes are made of sturdy wood!"] * Arisa shakes her head. "If you were where I came from, males from all over would probably faun over you as you are." Regardless...here. (Fawn, I think. Anyway.) * Arisa holds up another piece of clothing. Still relatively random, but selective as far as size and shape goes. * Taki grits her teath and sits up to take off her top. Then she folds it a few times and attempts to use it a makeshift pillow. [Taki: Well, it's a start. Julie, for whatever it's worth, doesn't seem to take any special notice.] [Sheila says, "But.. this isn't where you come from. If they see me, they'll see me how I am." She nods, pleased with her argument.] * Arisa smiles at that comment. "Then look at it as an opportunity." ["... an opportunity?"] * Taki rolls over again. [Julie chuckles a little and mumbles, "Okay, so I guess it is that bad."] * Arisa grins. "Yes. This is your first time in the Earth people's city, correct?" [Sheila nods a little.] * Taki growls and slides off the bed, grabbing her top as she goes. Once she's out of the door she starts to put it on. Then why not use it as an opportunity to try out Earth People's fashion? [No perverts seem to be hanging in the hall to startle you as you put your top on. Julie decides not to follow, surprisingly.] [Sheila, "Fashion? It's just my clothing..."] * Taki tries to navagate back to the room with all the clothes in it. Haven't you ever wanted to try it though? [Taki: Congratulations, even without teleporting, you can retrace your steps! It... sorta looks like maybe Arisa and Sheila are talking over by the clothes table?] [Sheila says, "Well... maybe..."] * Taki walks in the door and storms over to the pile of clothing where she starts dragging out the largest of the robes and throwing them into a new pile on the floor. [Sheila looks over at Taki's storming, "Aah, Takishimiru, you're... looking for clothing too?"] * Taki glares at Sheila, "I have clothes. I have no matress, and rocks are amazingly hard to sleep on." * Taki goes back to digging out robes. [Sheila shies back a little. Even in fairly dark darkness, she can tell Taki's angry. Maybe it's the tone?] * Arisa digs through a little more. "Mmm...well...I'm not so certain." She sighs. "Hello, Taki Shimiru. Could you please keep your grumpiness to yourself?" (Thre's that Rowyn guy again) (What is he doing diging through womens' clothing?) (He must be a pervert) * Taki ignores Arisa, and after finding one more robe she puts her foot into the pile on the floor and... 2d6-3 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Taki (2d6-3) and gets 3. * Taki vanishes along with her robes. * Arisa sighs. "She could at least treat you nicer. I don't mind her attitude so much." * Taki then starts to lay the robes onto her bed. [Sheila sighs a little. "I don't know why she doesn't like me. Most people like me except for Maggie."] [Taki succeeds at robing up her bed! And make a perception (hearing) roll.] 2d6 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Taki (2d6) and gets 2, a CRITICAL SUCCESS!!! "I love you. Do you love me too? Y_ N_" (...Don't tell anybody in MC2 about that kay? >_> <_<) * Arisa mmms a little bit. "From what I can tell, she doesn't like things that make her happy." [Yeah, Taki? Julie was totally crying when you popped in. Must not be used to teleporters. She obviously tried to cut it, but, uh, no. You're just that good.] [Sheila looks at the clothes. "People like that... I always feel bad for them. I only ever knew one..."] You aren't the only one.... * Taki throws one of the robes at/over Julie, "You did the right thing. Now try to sleep." [Julie looks at Taki oddly for a second through the robe that landed on her head then sighs. "You don't... nevermind." She takes the robe off of herself.] * Taki rolls up one of the robes and sets it at one end of her bed. "I know what it is to lose. I know how much it hurts to be helpless. Your father is still alive, and someday he may be free again. You are free. Do what you must." [Sheila is still staring at clothes.] [Julie doesn't even respond, although she does toss the robe down on the bed.] * Arisa puts a hand on Sheila's back, looking over with her. "Find anything you like?" * Taki takes the last robe and drapes it across the others, and then finaly crawls back onto her somewhat more comfortable bed. [Taki has succeeded in making it 8 degreess better than concrete!] [Sheila frowns at it all, and shakes her head. "I like my clothes just fine. This is all... soft."] What's wrong with soft? * Arisa shakes her head and slips off her robe. She's either looking for another gul'tari, an outfit similar to Julie's or just something a little more tactful... (...So I've reached dorm room carpeting...) (Ha. No, it's doable. You picked up enough robes.) [Arisa can find a number of gul'taris, of various colors that would fit her. There's also those basic soft shirts/short-type things.] (Ahh, bigger degrees than I thought.) * Taki sighs. "Much better." * Arisa takes a couple and looks for a pack. She meanwhile tosses one of the extra shorts to Sheila. "Here, try this." [Sheila starts to slip it on over her normal outfit.] * Arisa shakes her head. "Maybe you should take the other outfit off first.." [She finishes slipping it on! It definitely goes over her normal outfit.] * Arisa smiles. "Or not. Here." She also tosses her a shirt! On her head. [She takes the shirt off her head and slips it on. It's big, yeah, but not too big.] * Arisa looks her over, quirking her head to the side. "Shirt may be a tad oversized, but I think it fits fine.." I'll be right back... * Arisa takes one of the gul'tari's into another room to change. Modesty and all. [Sheila follows you! Modesty? What's that? "I do not like these... loose clothes."] * Arisa shrieks as Sheila comes into the room with her half-dressed. She then covers herself and blushes. "C-could you wait a moment then? I'm not exactly as...open as you are.." [Sheila looks at Arisa's modesty strangely, then the proverbial lightbulb hits. "Oh, um... okay."] [She picks at her clothes as she walks out, mumbling, "Too loose."] * Arisa sighs and a few moments later comes out with an extra gul'tari, dressed in her own. "Could try this. I'm sure a certain researcher would love to see you in it. I'm not sure if there's a tighter shirt." Mmm...I think it'd look well enough with those shorts though... [She blinks at her, taking the gul'tari. "A... researcher?"] * Arisa nods and starts arranging the pile. Hey it gives her something to do. "On humans." [She takes off her shirt, and then her top, saying as she does, "... What is he searching for?" You'd have to ask him. * Arisa keeps arranging. Also a good way to keep modesty! Two in one. * Arisa then half smiles and glances off to the side towards her. "We can tonight if you'd like. He may still be at the celebration." ( * Mechalink is topless at the moment, staring at the gul'tari. ) (Ha! Now THAT's pervertry.) (... I didn't need to know that Mecha :P) (Yare yare.) [Sheila is topless at the moment, staring at the gul'tari.] * Arisa shakes her head. "Do you need help attaching it? It isn't easy the first time.." [Sheila nods a little and smiles at Arisa. "I think so, yes, it is very strange, although you wore yours well..."] * Arisa blushes slightly. "Not at all. My body is...not very impressive." She sighs and looks at her shoulders, freckles dotting even those. "These blemishes'll be the death of me.." [Sheila blinks. "Not.. very impressive?"] [Sheila also walks closer to you. Well, you DID offer to help...] * Arisa shakes her head. "No, not at all. Perhaps here I get a little attention because of my oddity, but I would get nothing near it at home I'm certain." She goes up to Sheila's back and starts to pull up the straps. ( Lurk? Y/N? ) (Whatever. ^_^;) (Fine by me. Though not much to lurk on at the moment.) (Stupid Taki fell asleep...) [Sheila still seems a bit puzzled, but also in no way awkward about you messing with her and the gul'tari. For what it's worth, it's not as easy to put on without, uh, wrapping around the shorts area. You might be able to pull it with a mind roll. Stupid complex setups.] 2d8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Arisa (2d8) and gets 10. (Tain't that smart ^^;) (That'd possibly be a sleight of hand roll anyhow ^^;) [Nah, you don't quite see how to do it with the shorts on, and the bottom on, and such, without looking so crazy.] I think...we're going to have to put it on u--underneath. [Sheila looks over her shoulder at Arisa and pouts slightly. "I hope this is okay clothing..." before removing the shorts, and then her actual bottoms of the clothes. As you already know, she's lean and well toned. Pretty much what you'd expect from an effective plainswoman.] * Arisa tries to put it on without looking or touching much of anything. This is going to be a feat. (Yeah, it will. Let's say mind - 2) 2d8-2 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Arisa (2d8-2) and gets 5. (Woo) [Arisa, in a feat of stunning dexterity, in the dark, manages to do a fair job of putting on our dear human's pale green gul'tari.] [Sheila seems a little giggly about it, but that's about it.] * Arisa smiles and steps back, hmming. "Now the shorts over...although perhaps that'd be more my style.." [Sheila looks down at herself and beams. "This feels much better!"] I thought as much. The other was far too baggy... [Since Taki's asleep, she doesn't notice Julie escape the bedroom. But Arisa and Sheila can both see her enter the room.] * Arisa tries on shorts over her own outfit and then looks around for a mirror. [Arisa catches a mirror off the glint from Julie's current eye-glow.] * Arisa turns towards Julie for a moment and looks at her surprised. "Sorry..did we wake you?" [Julie shakes her head. "I... was not sleeping. Taki is, however."] * Arisa poses a little for her. "What do you think? A bit of a new look..I'm wondering if a short top might look good as well.." [Sheila moves over near Arisa and tries to look in the mirror. "It's like water!"] (What color did you go with on the gul'tari?) (And the shorts?) (Light blue and white most likely) [Julie looks at Arisa, and Arisa can easily tell that Julie's eyes are getting brighter. "Pale. It suits you very well."] What? Would you prefer me dark? * Arisa sticks her tongue out at Julie and then takes Shiela by the arm. "I'm going to at least tour our friend around. If you can't sleep, you're welcome to join us if you'd like." [Sheila continues staring at herself and giggling until Arisa grabs her.] [Julie laughs a little and says, "I always liked sharp contrast, but... well, darks and hot colors do that."] I don't know...hmmm... (* Arisa looks at the pile, then pulls out something, but secretly tries to bundle it up to hide it. "Hold on, okay?" She goes to the other room quickly (sans Sheila) and closes the door.) [Julie grins at her leaving, then looks over at Sheila. "Why did you want to come along, anyway?"] [Sheila, who is just getting back to looking at how she looks in this fun fun ribbon contraption, says, "I think this is gonna be important, and nobody else was gonna." She giggles. "Besides, Takishimiru is too grumpy to be left alone."] (...Grrrrr.) (... Wait I'm asleep. Zzzzzzz.) * Arisa comes out a few moments later. She's swapped it for a black gul'tari and red shorts. She puts her hands on her hips at the door frame and grins. "Alright you two. Ready?" (Ha ha! That's what you get for leeping.) [Julie snorts a little and says, "You humans would sayggnn."] [The 'ggnn' part of that sentence, of course, is when she swivels her head to look at Arisa.] Hmm...well I guess that means she's not ready... * Arisa walks up quickly and takes Sheila by the elbow. 'Come on, Sheila. Let's have some fun." [Julie quickly respods, "No! No, I'm ready. Yes, ready."] * Arisa doesn't hear you! She walks out. Yes, scythe somehow attached with her. [Julie starts catching up with her.] (She probably got an extra strap just for that.) (Could probably manage it. Take a whole gul'tari and put it to JUST keeping the scythe in place.) (Neat. She'd make it look like a shoulder sash ^^) [As Julie tries to catch up with Arisa, Arisa and Sheila see a somewhat empty city. The lights are dimmed, as per normal, although the giant bowl in the middle of the city where the party's going on does seem to be generating a fair amount of light.] [There really aren't that many people walking around, although there are a few. All of them walking away from the bowl.] [Julie says, "A... Arisa! Wait up!"] * Arisa keeps walking. With Sheila! She's noooot lisssstening.o/~ [Julie is frowninig as she chases. Sheila is starting to get the joke, giggling slightly, but still looking around in the what must be a real big darkness for her, looking at what little she can no doubt see.] [Sheila: "It's all so... big and rocky... and the earth people live here forever..."] I'm not sure...forever? I hadn't heard that. Perhaps a long time... * Arisa smiles slightly. "It's not that much different to me." [Sheila frowns and says, "Well, there... used to be other... towns? I think, but..."] But not as much now, I know... We're trying to find how to replace a...Jamo crystal? I think that's what they are called. [Julie starts to run. Which you can tell and, unfortunately for you, means she'll catch up darn quick.] [Sheila: "Jumo?"] * Arisa nods at that. She doesn't speed up for Julie but she doesn't pay much attention either. She has a new friend. "Yes. I don't know if it's possible but we have to attempt it...annd...if there's any surviving wind or water people..." She frowns slightly at her last statement [Julie catches up, although she sure doesn't seem cheered. She says, in a tone of weak joking, "Trying to get my attention, Arisa?"] (What direction were you walking?) (Towards the inverted bowl?) (Yes) * Arisa looks at Julie out of the side of her eye. "Not at all. I don't know what gave you that idea." The tone actually does sound entirely innocent, if you'll believe that. [Julie smiles a little more.] [You progress towards the bowl! A few more people, some of which actually manage to recognize you and mumur greetings. You may find that surprising.] [Sheila pouts. "Aww, she caught up..."] You were trying to run away? Shame on you! * Arisa tsk tsks her finger at Sheila and then giggles slightly. "Come on...let's look around." [Sheila's eyes widen, then she hmphs.] [Are you deviating from your path?] (Not too much, although keeping an eye on Sheila.) * Arisa glances at Sheila. "What's wrong?" [Sheila laughs and says, "Nothing."] Are you certain? [Julie's smile has returned to a more reasonable level as Sheila continues looking around. "Well, besides everything except that place being dark," she points at the bowl.] * Arisa blinks lightly at Sheila. "Really? I...I haven't really noticed." She looks around again, as if looking at it for the first time. [Yeah, Arisa, you're under low-light conditions. The intermittent lights throughout the city are more than enough to keep you happy, but... well, maybe normal humans just aren't cut out for it.] [Sheila is, naturally, gravitating towards the place she can see. Julie nudges you with a black-clad elbow, saying quietly, "You do know that 'ggnn' means 'That's a good look for you, right?'"] * Arisa looks at Julie and gives her a thoughtful "Huh?" Then she notices Sheila getting ahead. "Hey! Wait for us!" She rushes after her. [Julie lets out a huffy sigh, then rushes after them.] (Whenever you want to call it on time, go for it. I'm going to be up for a while yet. I can just keep going as long as you'er gonna be awake. ^_~) (I'm good, but my char went bad a long long time ago ;P) (I'm perfectly fine ^^;) (And I can't wake her until at least 45 minutes to 2 hours into sleep. ^)~ [Sheila continues walking as you catch up. "I guess they really all are at the party. Do you think they dance at the party?"] I don't recall if I saw any dancing or not. I'm certain they wouldn't mind. * Arisa smiles. "And if they do, they'll have to deal with me." [They approach the bowl! There are still guards, and people filtering out at a slow rate.] [Julie chuckles. "And nobody wants to deal with an angry Arisa."] * Arisa pouts. "I do *not* get angry." She hmmphs indignantly. "That's reserved for Miss Shimiru." (Don't worry, I've got enough to cover all of you.) [Julie mms slightly. "Of cousse."] I don't! [Julie smiles a little at Arisa. "That's what I just said, isn't it?"] [You are there! The guards are there! They see you two... then Sheila. "Is this the Ice user?"] * Arisa blinks at the guards slightly. "N-um...no. She's a guest of mine." ["A human guest.. " the female guard glances at Julie, then finishes, "Well, no stranger than the Op'Hak." The guards step aside. No scene this time!] * Arisa looks at the guards and then...marches forward, getting right in their face, speaking harshly and evenly. In the tone normally used with the eternally dense. "She has. A name." [The female Ru'hak looks down at you. "I was trying not to remember exactly what name sha carried."] [Just to note, the scythe is probably intimidatingly close as well. Shame Arisa doesn't realize it.] Well try harder. * Arisa looks up. Spunky half elf. [Julie has a frown on her face. Sheila looks confused. The woman just looks down at you and gestures inward. "Just enter, already."] I will not enter until you address her, address -both- of them properly. The war is *over*. Unless you wish for the animosity to continue, you -will- have to start treating each other cordially. Now is as good a time to start as any. * Arisa gestures to her friends. "This is Jul'pmak'guby. And this is Sheila of the..." She blinks and turns to Sheila. "Of which tribe were you again?" [Sheila is still confused, and perhaps a little stunned... she shakes her head and says, "Bluewood f--forest tribe." Yes. [The woman looks down at Arisa and then over at Julie. "Yes, I know who Jul'pmak'guby is." She glares a little at Julie, who tries to meet the gaze, although doesn't quite manage it. "It is very hard not to."] * Arisa turns back towards the guards. "Sheila of the Bluewood forest tribe. Now it isn't hard to address them. You try it." (*shifts Woman's first thing after*) [She then turns to Sheila and says, still seeming annoyed, but without the sheer glare that she gave to Julie. "And Shei'la of the Bluewood Forest tribe."] [The male guard is just sorta standing back from this whole deal.] * Arisa keeps a steady eye on the woman. "I see. But she is still not responsible for the war. And unless you drop this ridiculous pretense, there will be later hatred and later fighting." [The guard snorts. "I heard that she met with Va'bul's arm. The fact that she walked out is why I continue to trust her." She fixes her gaze on Julie. "But the Op'Hak have broken trust more than once."] [She looks back at Arisa, finishing, "You may have saved us, but you do not know us. Now, please, if you wish to enter, do so." She says that with the note of finality, as if to her, the matter is closed.] * Arisa looks over at the male. "And do you feel the same?" [Julie just doesn't seem to have any fire in her posture anymore.] [The male blinks and says, "I... I do not know, Miss Arisa. We will--we will have to see. Va'bul and Or'ma'kal willing, the earth's calm will come to--to those of us that are left."] [The woman glances over at the man, but doesn't speak up again. She's looking sort-of above the group. Ignoring them? Or just still finished?] * Vellius (Vellius@ip68-108-14-18.lv.lv.cox.net) Quit (Quit: ) * Arisa gives him a sudden, gratious smile. "At least that's a more open response. That's all I ask." She turns to Julie and Sheila, looking a little beaming in her small victory. 'Shall we go, Jul'pmak'guby and Sheila of Bluewood forest tribe?" [The man seems pleased as the woman continues to show you exactly why she is a woman of the Earth People.] (Head like ROCK!) [Julie nods a little, Sheila a little more. Sheila's enthusiasm is coming back a little while Julie does, indeed, look almost hurt.] (Because she's PMSing? ) (Not a subject I plan on broaching. >_>) (ARGH.) (zzz) (DAMN YOU, TAKI, AND YOUR SLEEP!) (You didn't say anything after your PMS joke. >_>) (Nope :P) (Apparently, you didn't run fast enough for Julie not to burn you to cinders.) (I am antisocial. Bite me) * Arisa heads onward! [Julie and Sheila follow. Sheila says, sorta quietly as there are a lot more Ru'Hak around, "The earth people sure hold grudges."] [You see a few people you saw before, drifting out and around as you approach the main bowl. The people are still around, still eating and gabbing peacefully. No crazy human researcher yet, though. Anyone else you looking for, if anyone?] Apparently so...but not all of them fortunately. There are still a few open-minded individuals out there.. * Arisa just looks for anyone she knows. She also answers any questions Sheila may have. * Arisa also looks at Julie. "Are you alright?" ( Why is the sky blue? What happened to Taki's face? Why is your face turning purple?) [Julie looks over at Arisa, and does seem troubled. "It seems tonight is all about reminding me how many mistakes I've made."] [You did catch a view of Guna and Frubi, over across the way. There is at least one or two of the Va'bul's arm people, but they don't seem to be bothering with talking.] [That one really odd matronly woman that was sorta piercing with her questions, not that that nails it down too much, but her name was Vpl'wag'mar, also seems to have her followers around.] [Sheila is looking around. "Wooooow. Hey, food!" She grabs some food off of a startled Ru'Hak server's plate.] * Arisa figures she could approach Frubi and works on doing so. "You made no mis--hey! Sheila! You can't just grab like that!" [The server doesn't actually seem bothered, just startled, and stands there as she grabs a bunch of that ba'loo stuff that Julie liked.] [Julie opens her mouth, then as Arisa turns away, sighs to herself and closes her eyes for a second.] * Arisa bows to the server. "I'm dreadfully sorry..." She turns to Sheila. "You have to be a little more discreet.." [Sheila frowns. "But it's food. Food for taking, right?" The server nods hesitantly.] Food is for asking for. Then you take. Then you eat. And it has to be shared amongst the rest of the guests.. [Julie smiles a little at Arisa, and Sheila nods a little, but having taken all she wants, just seems to be focused on the eating. Meanwhile, a Ru'Hak in big meaningful robey thing seems to be heading your way.] * Arisa peers at him. She frowns a little too and whispers to Julie. "Is he important?" [Julie blinks and looks at the man. "I.. ah, don't know. Which probably means he is some member of the Ru'Hak Janmal."] Which is? ["A council of decisionmakers who--"] [The man finally crosses the space and looks you all over, saying in the middle of Julie's quiet speech to you. "I had heard Vrr'pmak'ruex' daughter was here, but I had not seen her until now. And are you two the women who came to our aid against him?"] [This Ru'Hak is actually pretty tall for all the male Ru'Hak you have seen, possibly scraping 5'10".] * Arisa blushes slightly. "I, ah...uh...I suppose I am one of them. But no." She gestures at Sheila. "The other here is Sheila of the Bluewood Forest tribe." * Arisa then glances back at the man again. If this were D&D, she'd definitely Sense Motive. But as is, she does the best she can. [The man says sorta-idly, "Ah, a normal human," even as Sheila mumbles something through a mouth of food. He then says to you, "Then you are... Arisa Lockhart? We are all grateful for your help."] [He says with what seems like sincerity, although whether it's real or the type of a salesman... "I know that Ru'Wrg'Klu'Plo has seen you, but I thought the Janmal should at least give you your due."] Lockheed, but yes. (My bad, he wasn't supposed to mess that. Heh.) * Arisa bows at that response. (Fixy on my end!) (Aww...but it's a good response!) (Sorry! He's not that dumb. ^_^;) (Okay, I'll retcon mine then :P (It's easy to mess up!) * Arisa bows slightly, keeping her head low and her scythe, well, present. "That would be me. It's a pleasure to meet you.." [The Ru'Hak nods at her. "Oh, of course... my name is Hug'olak'bamr. I am, as no doubt you guessed, a member of the Janmal."] [He quickly adds, "Va'bul's Arm she, ah... asked your assistance, didn't she? Had you decided to help us?"] * Arisa gets a more serious look to her. "I cannot speak for my compatriot, but I, for one, am willing to help." She glances at Julie. "As, I'm sure, is the daughter of Vrr'pmak'ruex." [Julie looks down, then seems to find some pride from somewhere and looks at him, saying in a strong voice, "Whatever I can do to help heal the damage my father has caused, I will, as princess and an Op'Hak'Sa."] [Sheila cheerily chimes in, "Mehf too!!" through a bunch of food.] * Arisa giggles slightly at that and points to Sheila. "Her too." [The Ru'Hak blinks at the trio's vehemenence then a smile creeps across his face. "Wonderful, we hadn't heard if you had decided or... well, I will not waste any more of your time. Princess, Arisas Lockheed, Sheila." He bows slightly and moves off quickly.] [Julie smiles a little, then gives it a twist. "He's certainly confident for a Ru'Hak."] No... [Julie blinks, "No?"] * Arisa turns around towards Julie. "The most important thing is now the Ru'Hak know how dedicated the Op'Hak are in restoring this world. [Julie smiles a little weakly. "I... did say myself. You might be surprised... ah... how little power I might be able to command."] So we're trusting you...no, not just us. Your whole people are trusting you. [A dark cloud of doubt, to use a phrase, seems to come across Julie's face.] * Arisa looks at Julie sternly. "Do you wish to always be treated as an outcast because of your father?" [She shakes her head and replies, "We'll see how many of them want to trust me when I see them again."] (I think that's all I can do for tonight...the cold's finally getting to me) (Alright. I'm probably gonna have to go to school soon anyway.) (Aww, only another hour and ten minutes to our usual ending time) (However, I think we can end it on one more hopefully hopeful note from you. ^_~) * Arisa pats Julie on the back. "If they don't trust someone who helped save the world, then there's no hope for them after all." She mmms for a moment. "I think I'll steal all their gul'taris." [Julie's eyes widen, then she lets out a laugh. "I don't think you would do that, Arisa."] [And Arisa threatens to cause the meeting of people to become a nude Ru'Hak party, to Julie's shock and, no doubt, Sheila's squealing glee. She certainly is brazen, isn't she? Well, at least Taki will not be having her clothes stolen, for she sleeps the sleep of the damned. And the dead. But damned too. And with that, we bring The game... WITH NO NAME, Session 6, to a close! Session End!]
