[It is barely a few minutes after the end of the last session. You have travelled through what we will jokingly call the 'Christmas Dimension' and are back in Guna's house. It is pretty much like you left it. Complete with pile of clothes. Vrmy and his daughter are with you, Arisa and Vrmy's daughter both carrying and keeping him from doing anything.] [Guna has just started modifying the circle, in his way, ignoring you both. He seems to have that problem a lot, doesn't he?] [TGWNN: Session 2. Start!] [Vrmy's daughter looks over at Arisa and says, "Excuse me... miss, but I can handle my father until Gu'halq'na is done." They are still standing in the middle of the circle.] * Taki walks over to the table of weapons and throws her pole-axe back onto it...where it drips onto the rest of the weapons there. [It sure does drip! Ew. Black blood.] * Arisa looks at Vrmy-daughter and hmmms. "Welll...if you're sure.." She stands slowly, taking her hands away from the injured Op'hak. * Taki glances over the rest of the weapons and then the rest of the room. (Have demons invented chairs?) [She does not drop her father. Her father gives her a snort for her trouble, and she mutters, "Just stay still, Father."] [There is a chair. It's big, but it works! Actually fairly comfy, for something that seats an earth demon.] [Guna nods at the princess, "Excuse me, ah, Jul'pmak'guby, isn't it? Please step outside the circle now." She nods slightly, and says, with a hint of annoyance, "Stand here for a second, father."] * Taki nods to herself and goes to get a top that isn't burnt from the pile of clothes. [It's findable. Sadly, you used up all the blue and such. You're down to earth tones.] * Arisa taps her scythe tip on the floor and looks around fidgettingly, somewhat distracted from her full attention. [Jul'pak'guby, who is now Julie, lets go of her father. As she turns her back to walk away, he leaps at her!] (You have time to react... well, Arisa does. Taki's a bit far off. ^_~) * Taki reaches for the lightest shade of brown she can find... (He's attacking his daughter?) (Yes.) (yep) (Okay, what's the defending others rule again? What distance?) (Is that what you're going to do? Try to interpose your scythe?) (Think about what you want to do. I'll worry about the numbers. ^_~) (Yup) (Interpose herself with the scythe in front.) (Okay. Give me a block roll. At... a 6 penalty.) 2d8-3 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Arisa (2d8-3) and gets 3. (Wait, no sword, right?) (It'd be -2 then...still a make, just not as good) [Arisa manages to interpose herself in front of Vrmy... not that Vrmy would have hit her, as she had ducked out of the way, but KLONG. He smacks right into Arisa. Body roll.] 2d8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Arisa (2d8) and gets 7. (...curse elves and their frail 6 body. ;_;) [And Arisa and Vrmy take a tumble! But Vrmy definitely got the worst of it, since Arisa interposed with her Scythe in the way, and he moans in pain. "Blasted humans..."] * Taki looks up at the noise from behind her and sighs, then she teleports back to the weapons table to grab her pole-axe back. [Meanwhile, Guna mutters a few things about ungraceful defeat.] (Arisa? You're the one with the fire demon half-on-top-of you. I think you have first action. ^_~) (He's not exactly, uh... doing much with his 'freedom'.) * Arisa looks at the fire-demon on her and blinks, not making quite a move just yet. "You fire-demon types are feisty early in the morning." She looks him over innocently. [Vrmy grumbles some more. Arisa can make out 'Traitor." But he doesn't look up to see his daughter _kick him off of Arisa_, back into the center of the circle. "For Or'ma'kal's sake, Father," she says in annoyance. "Show some dignity."] * Arisa blinks as the daughter kicks him off. "Uh...he wasn't doing anything wrong was he? I hope?" She slowly picks herself up off the ground. [Julie offers Arisa a hand. "Father just never can accept being beaten."] [He groans in protest.] * Taki teleports outside the circle, holding her axe again and grinning at Vrmy, "Hi? Remember me? The human that kicked your ass? Try that again and we'll find out if her herbs can stick your feet back on." [Vrmy looks up at Taki and laughs weakly, attempting to at least sit up. "Where did you find these humans, Gu'halq'na? The ice user has more fire than your entire race."] * Jex is now known as Jexless [Julie continues to hold her hand out for Arisa.] * Arisa doesn't take the hand as she gets up, dusting herself off and holding her shoulder a bit, rotating it to see if it's okay before setting her scythe behind her at an angle. * Taki snorts and pointed turns her back on Vrmy as she goes back to the clothes pile. With the axe this time. * Arisa smiles at Julie at her comment. "OH, I don't mind. He put up a good fight after all. It was all in good sport." She smiles at Vrmy too. [You're fine, Arisa. Meanwhile, Guna looks at Arisa and says, "Could you, ah, exit the magical area, please?" You are standing just on the 'rune'ish area.] [Vrmy snorts at you and it feels as if his eyes would be burning white again... if he could do that.] [Julie just smiles back and makes sure she's not in the way.] * Taki looks over her shoulder at Vrmy and shakes her head at him before going back to the clothes, she thinks she spots some blue...but it's only one of the ribbon things. * Arisa looks down at her feet, then at Guna. "Oh. Right. Sorry!" She takes a step back. [It's a very pretty ribbon thing, Taki. Really.] [Guna clears his throat once Arisa is clear, and says one of those harsh magic words, causing the circle to light up. He nods in satisfaction, and a split second later, the door slams open.] [It makes a loud wham noise. Some things stay the same.] (Because some doors make cartoon honking noises when they are slammed!) * Taki stands up again to glare at whatever the newest interuption in her quest to get out of her burnt shirt is. * Arisa turns to the slamming door, raising her scythe diagonally across her back. She doesn't glare. She's too naive to glare. [The thing at the door is a lot like Guna, but much bigger. It's wearing armor, spattered with black blood. The thing looks tired, but that doesn't stop it from walking across the room and crushing Guna in a giant hug, lifting him off the floor. And pressing him against that armor. How unsanitary.] [Guna, for his part, squeaks.] * Taki watches this display for a moment, "You the one who knows about this soul copy magic?" [Vrmy rolls his eyes. Julie shakes her head, as if amused. The 'thing' puts down Guna and says, "It worked!" She turns towards Taki and stares. "... but it called a human." Glance at Arisa. "Two humans." She finally glances at Vrmy and Julie and stares for a second, before turning to Taki and nodding. "R... Right. That's me. Fru'biop'wau."] * Arisa sighs and rolls her eyes to the ceiling, getting a slightly pouty look. "Why does everyone mistake me for a human? Yeesh." Ahh, good. I have a few questions I'd like to ask you. [She walks over to Taki, and says, "I imagine you do. Let's go to the study and leave the great firey one alone for a bit." She smiles down at Taki. "Why didn't you tell me they were so cute, heart?"] Because he didn't know where you were. [Guna stammers, "Ah... um..." he nods at Taki, smiling as if she were his savior. Which she sorta is. "Yes. I didn't have time, remember?" She gestures dismissively, then walks to a diffeent door of the house. "Come on, all of you!" She eyes Julie for a second, then shrugs, and continues into a different room.] * Arisa blushes slightly. "Wa-wa-wait...c-cute? Me?" She blushes and eeps a little looking down at the floor suddenly, hands down tightly in front of her, holding the scythe at the horizontal. [Julie laughs a little, and says in a hushed tone, partially at Arisa, "I'd heard that the Ru'Hak females could be... motherly, but that is..."] * Taki makes a short sidetrip to chuck the axe back on the pile again before following Frubi out the door. (Frubi it is!) (Which is not Furbi.) * Arisa follows Fru slowly, still the bright red covering up her freckles, eyes slightly downcast as she walks behind Taki. (Well, Frubio sounds like a card game :P) (Or maybe a breakfast cerial) (Honey nut Frubios) [Guna and Julie also follow, after you two. The other room has lots of chairs, and now you can see why the one was so big. Frubi fits into one comfortably. "Have a seat, have a seat! Gun, introduce me to these wonderful humans!"] (Bwhahaha!) * Arisa squeaks out. "Excuse me, ma'am..um...miss...uh...whatever. I'm not really a human. I'm half elf." She twitches her ears embarrassed as she looks shyly at Frubi. [Guna looks embarassed. Which is to say, he's lost all the red in his face, and looks totally brown. Frubi looks at Arisa and says warmly, "Oh, my mistake, child." She pauses, and says, "What is an elf?"] "Uh...we're like humans only we live in the forests more often than the towns. And um...we live a lot longer...and have pointed ears.." She runs her fingers along her ears. "There's some other stuff too but I forget." * Taki walks over to one of the giant chairs, and jumps slightly to get into it. "Kinda more inclined to magic I guess..." She glances at Taki for a second. "Although now I'm not so sure about that..." [Frubi nods slowly, and mms, as if making mental notes. She then turns to her husband and notes his face. "... Gun. Introduce me to the nice ladies." She says that last harshly.] * Taki shrugs. [Guna stammers and then opens his mouth, but Frubi interrupts him. "You didn't even ask their names! They just saved our lives, and you don't even know their names?" She rolls her eyes and looks towards the women. "Well, you can introduce yourselves them." She glances at Julie when saying that as well.] [Julie seems a little disapproving of that as well.] We're all ears ms half elf. * Arisa blushes slightly and lowers her lashes a bit, before looking back up. "Arisa Lockheed, daughter of Caius Lockheed and Neiya Glowfire. Sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier but it was hectic." She blushes embarrassed again. [Frubi glances over at Guna, and the nods. "I... imagine so. It was very close." She prounounces, "Arisa Lockheed," fairly well, and bows. "My thanks to you for saving us all."] * Arisa blushes deeper at all the compliments. "It was nothing, ma'am. I did what I could." [Frubi smiles. "Well, it worked." She turns to Taki. "And you?"] My name is Taki Shimiru and my parents are unimportant. (read RDM can't find the textfile he wrote their names in. ^^) (Ha.) (Well she probably wouldn't introduce herself that way anyhow. ^^;) (Heh, that's right. Their first names haven't been mentioned in session.) (Nasira would! Nasira'd throw more names in.) (Nope! Until now, NOBODY knew their names. Not even eachother. It was a great joke.) ("My name is Taki Shimiru. Daughter of Mr. Shimiru and Mrs. Shimiru.") [Frubi says, "Taki... Shimiru. An odd name. But my thanks to you as well."] (Mecha: I think Ard meant Taki's parent's first names. ^^;) (Aha.) (Or am I wrong? I may be wrong) (Me and Brett...well only Brett right now are the only ones who know what their names are) (No, you're right. ;P) [Frubi turns to Julie, who says, proudly, "I am Jul'pmag'guby. First born to Vrr'pmak'ruex. Future ruler of the Op'Hak empire."] * Arisa rubs the top of her ear thoughtfully. "You people have long names." * Taki nods. [Frubi smiles a little, but it's not a happy smile. "I already knew who you were. I was simply wondering how you would answer." She then turns to Taki and Arisa. "Well, our names are simply the first part of them. The rest is family." She smiles. "That's why I call my little Gun Gun. Surely you don't use full names all the time... wherever you two were drawn from?"] Well...no. Simply Arisa's fine. I am from a city called Tokyo on a planet called Earth... Is it true that you can't send me back there? [Frubi laughs. "Oh, no, I could never call you anything but your full names. You are..." she trails off at Taki's statement, and lets out one of those weird sighs.] * Arisa blinks at Frubi. "What?" She then looks over at Taki. "What's a Tokyo?" ["A place, I imagine. I suppose I should explain that." Suddenly you smell something, and at the same time, Guna walks into view with something that could be called a pot if you were Picasso, and some more reasonble looking cups.] [Frubi smiles at him and takes a cup. "Please, drink. All of you." She makes the All pointed.] (what does it smell like?) (It smells sorta like tea. It has a strong second scent, though. Perhaps... dark? Maybe like coffee?) * Arisa takes the drink and sniffs it, dipping her finger carefully and tasting it. (Sadly, as naive as she is, she is doing a poisons/herbology check ^^;) (Well, roll it, then!) 2d8-4 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Arisa (2d8-4) and gets 9. * Taki waits to see if Guna is going to bring the pot over if she has to go to him. 2d8-5 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Arisa (2d8-5) and gets 2. (Make general botany but missed poisons) (Wasn't sure if it'd apply anyhow, that's up to you) (Meanwhile, the _taste_ is a lot like coffee, but with a lot less of the edge. Then again, you only drank a little.) [Julie takes a little sip and coughs lightly at it. "You make your maha strong here."] * Arisa hmmms and takes a bit of a stronger sip, cautious due to the heat. * Taki hops back out of the chair and makes her way to the pot and takes a cup. [It is a lot like a strong coffee, although there are other hints. If you don't like coffee, this isn't going to do it for you at all.] * Taki takes a sip and humms a bit as she conciders the taste, "Interesting." [Meanwhile, once Guna takes his seat again, Frubi takes a deep breath and says, "To put it simply... there is no... you cannot go back because you never left."] * Arisa blehs as she tastes it. "Sorry, I don't really care for it.." She sets the cup down but thanks Frubi with a bow, sitting carefully. "We're not who we think we are, right? What are our bodies made out of? I heard of golems before but this is new to me.." [Frubi nods very slightly. "It... for lack of a better term that will make it through your attunement to this world... you are made of dreams."] ["The dreams of... whoever you were."] * Taki walks back to her chair, and is a bit more carefull as she climbs in, "and what happens when we ...or they die?" * Arisa tilts her eyebrow up as she looks at Frubi carefully. "Dreams? I didn't know dreams had substance." [Frubi shakes her head. "You are seperate now... it is like creating a broom from the wood of a tree. The broom, and the tree, neither are connected any more." She glances over to Arisa. "It is, as I said, difficult to explain. They are not dreams, it is... more. The pure essence of one whose spirit is so strong as to touch the place that connects dimensions... it is like a dream." She chuckles faintly, and takes a sip of her maha.] [Julie just looks sorta stunned at the concept.] * Arisa blinks and looks at her hand. "So, like, when I'm dreaming now...well, the other me is dreaming, then I'm here or something like that? But not quite?" So it's like Meimi and her damned illusions ... Or do I have a soul of my own now? [Frubi shakes her head again. "As I said, you and they are seperate. You are two new beings, but... you no longer belong where you remember." She sighs, then looks at Taki. "You have an essence of your own, yes. Just... no place but here."] * Arisa looks at Frubi strangely. "Does the other me know about me at all?" [Frubi shakes her head. "I don't believe so. She might have seen herself being split in two, in a real dream, but that is all it would be, to you, isn't it?" A soft smile. "A dream?"] * Arisa looks over her hand, turning it this way and that. "Odd..." She hmms and shifts her weight before putting her finger to her lips, looking up thoughtfully. "Well...I hope she's okay." * Taki takes a sip and then looks at Frubi, "Do you know what reincarnation is? [Frubi looks at Taki, and her eyes roll back for a second. Guna pipes up, "That's the, ah, concept of an essence being put into another body upon death, isn't it?" Frubi looks over at Guna and then nods at Taki. "Yes... why?"] Because, I... or at least my original was a reincarnated soul and unless some miricle happens before she dies, she will be again. If there are two of me running around next time ... Well I don't think that's a very good idea. (actualy change that two to a three.) * Arisa looks fully on Taki. "A reincarnated soul? Is that often where you come from?" [Frubi mms faintly, and waits on Arisa's question.] ("often" should be "common") No. It is not common. There are fewer than two hundred of us. * Arisa frowns. "I'm sorry to hear that." [Frubi then says, "An... interesting problem. Will you give me time to think about it? It has been a long day." She chuckles faintly, then says, "Although it will be longer for you yet."] [Frubi takes this opportunity to take a small actual stone tablet from a pouch she has.] * Taki grins at Frubi, "I will endover to not die until I hear back from you." * Arisa muses carefully. "There's not much natural reincarnation where I come from. There's some powerful spells that can bring you from the brink of death but those are few and far between...and even then..." She shrugs lightly. * Taki looks at Arisu, "This is not the result of anything natural." (Arisa, Gryph. Arisa. I wouldn't keep correcting you if she weren't in Arcana ;P) (Gah! Arisa!) (That's three) [Frubi looks between Taki and Arisa for a bit, then coughs and says, "I hate to interrupt, but I must inform you both that you, along with Gun..." she glances at Julie, "and even Jul'pmak'guby, are invited to a celebration at Op'Nalo'Jm'Rokp, this very night."] * Arisa hmms thoughtfully then stretches. "Maybe we can talk about it. I mean...there's not really much else for us to do. It's not like any deep dark secrets of our past will matter while we're here anyhow if there's other selves of us out there.." * Arisa then turns to Frubi. "A what?" * Taki snorts, "Even before.... I was never one for parties." (Er. Makee that the Ru'Nalo'Jm'Rokp. Silly me.) ["A celebraton. And you cannot refuse. You did save us and our world, for the time being. The least we can do is recognize that."] * Arisa blinks again softly, staring at Frubi. "We can't? [She smiles wryly, "How often do you save the world? Come come, you should enjoy it."] * Arisa blushes and mutters off to the side slightly under her breath. "I never wanted to save the world though..." * Taki shakes her head. But...if it's a request, I suppose I cannot refuse. [She smiles toothily and turns to Taki. "Come, Taki Shimiru. You cannot avoid a party thrown in your honor."] * Arisa whispers over to Taki in a hushed voice, cupping her hand over her mouth. "Better do what she says. I fear her more than anything that fire-demon might do to us..." You can throw as many parties as you want, you can enjoy your freedoms every night of the week, you cannot make me enjoy it. So go have fun. [She frowns disapprovingly. Julie seems a bit confused. Guna just sits in the corner.] * Arisa blinks and shrugs, looking at Frubi pleadingly. "Well, I tried." [Frubi smiles slightly at Arisa, and then turns to Taki. "Well, we certainly will not force you. You will be missed, though. I hope you will be willing to stay at my house for as long as you are here, though. My daughter's room can accomodate both of you. Perhaps even Jul'pmak'guby, if you wish."] * Arisa tilts her head. "Your daughter?" I will stay untill you provide me with an answer, then I shall decide what to do next. * Arisa narrows her eyes a little at Taki and hmmphs. "Come now, you're being rude. These are our hosts." [Julie looks over at Taki and Arisa with slightly widened eyes, and Frubi nods. "My daughter." She gestures at a picture, of a 'woman' who looks... a lot like Frubi. "She moved out years ago, but the room is still good."] * Ardweden (arwen@c-24-15-245-98.client.comcast.net) has left #oneshottheater Ah yes, can't be rude to our creators, I shall of course attend your party. * Arisa sighs and looks pleadingly at Frubi. "I apologize for her behavior. But I can understand how she'd be a little on edge. What you said is a bit of a shock." * Arisa then notices Julie's look and blinks, turning her gaze to look steadily at her. [Guna winces: Even he can tell what sarcasm is. Frubi just nods a little. "I... well, I don't understand, but I comprehend, perhaps." Julie meets Arisa's eyes and then she says, "I'd... er..." she smiles a little. "I'd love to stay here."] * Arisa smiles softly. "We'd love to have you..." She turns to Frubi. "Right?" [Frubi nods, and turns to Taki. "Well, it does depend on Taki Shimiru." She suddenly claps her hands. "Oh, I must look a mess! I must get cleaned." She gestures at Guna, and he faintly JUMPS up and rushes off.] [Frubi shakes her head. "He's like a child, sometimes, but I'm sure you noticed that. Excuse us."] I will not stop you, but I would like a shirt without the extra holes in it. * Arisa watches Guna run curiously, then turns back to Frubi, giving her an odd querying look. [Frubi smiles back at Arisa, and the only thing you could assign to it is 'knowingly'. Then she walks off herself.] [Julie frowns slightly, and mutters, "I am not my father."] * Taki snorts, "Which is why you can walk on your own two legs." Your father? * Arisa glances at Julie then back at where Frubi went. "Such an odd couple." [Julie ignores Taki and looks over at Arisa as if she had flames spouting out her ears. "Yes. My father, Vrr." She then giggles. "I hear many Ru'Hak couples are like that."] * Arisa then sighs and turns to Taki. "I'm not asking you to enjoy the party, but they are offering their hospitality. The least we can do is return the favor by accepting their invitation. It has nothing to do with "creators" at all.." [Julie, now that she isn't being watched, takes a sip of her Maha, then tries to take a full drink of it and coughs embarassedly.] * Taki looks at Arisa for a moment and then looks away, "I have an overwhelming urge to break things right now, I do not wish to take it out on people who have simply bumped into me." [Julie tries to recover from her coughing fit, and pipe in hurridly, "I know the feeling. Breaking things, I mean."] * Arisa tilts her head to the side. "And what has happened in your life...well, at least in your memory...that makes you so violent?" She goes looks at Julie and goes over to her with the cup. "You can have mine too if you wish." (This is all chatter-time. After this, we can either FF to the party, or the split if Taki changes her mind, or call it and do minis/session later.) (Or whatever. S'you two's game. ^_~) (Yup!) (We own this channel! Bwahahahaha...) You do not want to know the answer to that question for me, for my previous life it was her pride. [Julie shakes her head. "No, no, my Maha is..." she trails off at Taki's little statement.] (All MINE...well execpt for the bits that are hers...) (Ha.) * Mechalink changes topic to 'TAKI AND ARISA OWN THIS CHANNEL' * Arisa kneels down next to Julie, speaking calmly without looking at Taki. "If I did not wish to know, I would not have asked, Miss Shimiru." * Arisa offers her cup of Maha and smiles at Julie. "I insist." * Taki takes another drink and looks at one of the walls for a long while. [Julie looks at it and smiles weakly. "I do not think I can handle any more of this. It is like five cups of Op'Hak Maha."] (My first flub! Damn.) We have a similar substance where I'm from...this tastes like something humans would brew. * Arisa makes a face at that. "They make awful drinks. No offense." Cofee beans, tea leaves... * Taki goes on to list a few other things Arisa might recognize. It's from leaves I'm fairly sure...the taste is familiar... (Did you ever replace your shirt, Taki?) (Not yet, she tried twice) (I didn't think so. ^_^;) (Three times if you count her asking Frubi) (well demanding of Frubi.) Camomile's good...but I much prefer something fruitier. I could try to brew something later if I could only find the ingrediants. There is an entire world of people who are thankful to you. One of them should be able to tell you. I am going to get another shirt. * Taki stands up again and takes her mostly full cup back to the tray. * Arisa blinks and turns to look at Taki, still kneeling next to Julie as she speaks quietly to her. "Did I say something wrong...?" [Julie looks at Arisa, then at Taki, then at Arisa. "I... don't know. I don't know many humans. Or... um... half elves, is it?"] [Taki, again, you can't really find another blue shirt, but the blue wraps are there, and a lot of nice earth tones. They seem to do real good jobs with earth tones. A few striking reds, too. Vrmy is pacing and muttering things to himself.] * Taki heads for the door back to where the clothes and Julie's father were. (Sorry, I was too fast! That narration comes when you actually enter the room. 6_~) (Which if Arisu doesn't pipe up again with her next line will be what happens.) * Arisa nods slightly and smiles at Julie. "Uma. Lle irma amin istim lle?" (and she's in the other room!) (That's 4, Gryph ;P) (At least it was OOC this time ^_^;) (>.<#) (Still four) [Julie looks at Arisa in confusion. "U.. .ma?"] * Arisa giggles. "Sorry. I said 'Yes, would you like me to teach you?'" * Taki doesn't even bother to look at Vrmy, she goes to the pile and pules out a red top, it matches her hair and doesn't seem to invite interuption like the brown ones did. [Julie smiles a little and nods. "I... yes. I should get to know you and the Ru'Hak much better."] Well, I can't inform you much about the Ru'Hak... * Arisa sighs slightly and sits back. "So why are you against your father?" [Julie looks away. "It is not... I love my father, you must understand. But he, his quest... you have seen little of this world, but when I was a child it was still intact. Still... beautiful. Now..."] So why would he decide to change it so? [Julie shakes her head. "You... maybe you don't understand, being as a human, but we... our hearts burn. Our lust for everything... we feel strongly. And once my mother died, my father's only feeling was to posess the world. And..." sshe trails off.] * Taki walks back in, she's replaced her burnt blue top with a bright red one ... and has added what for anybody else would be a medium sized two bladed axe. The human understands quite well. Ambition is universal, I'm afraid, Julie. But that doesn't make it a proper choice... * Arisa sighs and draws her knees up to her chin, looking up slightly. [Julie looks back at Taki in a brief second of shock, and then nods slowly, before turning back to Arisa. "No, it wasn't, but... I never had ability to be the Op'Kahn my father is."] * Taki leans the axe up against the wall and walks back to the tray, "Kahn?" Leader I presume? [Julie shakes her head. "Op'Kahn... it's the title for someone attuned to their nature as a Op'Hak. The powers my father displayed in the fight... the powers of a master Op'Kahn." Mmmm... Are all Op'Kahn like he is? So a natural elemental attunement. Do all of the races have similar attunements? [Julie shakes her head. "He is the second strongest Op'Kahn, and so his powers are... well, you saw. Most can do no better than creating fire." Julie nods at Arisa. "You saw Gu'halq'na... I do not know what they call them, but we call them Ru'Kahn," She smiles faintly at that, as if realizing how unimaginitive it is.] Him? Huh. * Arisa blinks slightly. "He is? He didn't seem all that powerful..." [Julie blinks at Arisa and Taki. "He held off at least 50 soldiers for a minute, by himself. How many can do that in your worlds?"] That I knew personaly? * Arisa thinks on that, pondering the question thoughtfully. [Julie looks between them, in confusion, then finally says, "It's that hard a question?"] I'm trying not to leave anybody off the list. Well, a minute IS a good while, I admit...a good spell can probably catch them pretty nicely though if they're that packed together. Your people really need to learn battle tactics. [Julie eyes them both again, in disbelief, then just shakes her head. "I am amazed."] We are the ones who defeated your father. * Arisa mmms. "It does depend on the type of people who you're fighting though." * Arisa stretches her scythe up behind her. "I try not to think about it. I'd rather not fight. It's.." She shakes her head. "I don't get it." [Julie mms faintly, and nods once.] Some people need stopping. It is as simple as that. [Julie NODS at Taki. "Yes."] [Frubi walks back in the room, and she's wearing one of the strappy outfits, in a nice greeen. Now you can see how it works, and, while it wouldn't even be more obscene than a two-picee bathing suit, and possibly _less_ so, you're not sure it would hold up against your skin. Frubi, however, has no problem with it. "Hello, girls. Getting along well?"] Well, obviously if they're destroying the world, yeah... * Arisa gestures out with her hand but doesn't seem to sure of that, her eyes a little distant. * Taki looks at Frubi, "Better than I had expected." [Frubi smiles. "Wonderful! I should show you where you will all be sleeping, at least for tonight."] In a moment. * Arisa smiles back at Frubi and stands, bowing a little. "I appreciate the hospitality to people you've only just met." [Frubi waves her hand. "Think nothing of it. It is the least I can do for any traveler, and you are far more than just any traveller."] A celebration of this kind, cannot last only one day, Tonight shall be Arisa's night to enjoy. So she will go out to the party and be thanked, and I will be shown where I can work out some frusration. * Taki nods at the axe, "On things that are not alive." * Arisa frowns at Taki. "Are you sure? I'd love for you to come..." [Frubi looks over at Taki, and nods slowly. "Yes, we all would." Julie smiles a little herself.] Tomarrow, tonight. I would like to be to be by myself. (that period is comma in disguise!) (As a side note. I am glad I am not mixing up my two channels. They are strikingly different in content.) (Oh? What else are you playing?) (Uh. It's an Urban Dawn Mini that lives up to the motto 'Smut for DP.') (...I see.) * Arisa frowns even more and speaks softly, looking shyly at Taki. "Sadly, it sounds like you do need someone tonight..." She isn't sure if Taki really heard her and it's uncertain whether it's meant to be. [If Taki heard her she's ignoring it.] [Frubi nods slowly, and says, "I'm... sure you can find something."] Good. If there is a source of water, that would also be helpful. [Frubi shakes her head. "The nearest river is a ways away, I am afraid. The Yu'nom River is a half-day's walk. And our circle is busy... at least, until a guard comes." Beat. "I bet Gun didn't call a guard, did he?"] * Arisa blinks. "Guard?" Then I shall make due with what I have, and I did not hear him call for one. [Frubi rolls her eyes and says, "Of course he didn't. Excuse me, I don't look to having your father," she looks at Julie for that, "Around forever."] Um....excuse me... * Arisa shifts uneasily and looks slightly at the ground, expectantly at Frubi. [Frubi turns to Arisa and says, "Yes?"] Do you...have anything more appropriate for a celebration? I mean...is this really proper attire? * Arisa shifts some more. * Taki snorts, but it sounds like she might have been covering part of a laugh. (and was supposed to happen before Frubi replied ^^;) [Frubi looks at her and says, "Well, you could wear a Gul'tari," she gestures at herself. "It's a very nice style of clothing around here."] That's...um... * Arisa blinks a little and blushes. "I guess...it's a little revealing though isn't it?" I think she...yes she is. [Frubi blinks and says, "Revealing? I don't see how..." she looks at Arisa carefully. As if to try to figure out how wearing it would be 'revealing'.] (She's so easily embarrassed.) I...guess I'll wear it. Do you have anything that would cover more of her skin? * Arisa goes to search for proper clothes. * Arisa almost squeaks out at Taki. "I'll be fine!" She then lowers her voice to normal, taking a breath. "I'll be fine...if this is proper attire..." (The GM thinks someone should draw that.) (Arisa in a RibbonThingy.) (Heee!) (heheh) (Unfortunatly the only example I can think of somebody wearing a ribbon is The World in Magical Drop. ^^) (Sailor Moon Transformations.) * Arisa picks up the ribbony thing and seems like her face changes several times, but faintly, as if she's wrestling with an eternal struggle, before going to a secluded area to change. (Poitrine in La Pucelle) (Forgot about that) * Taki drums her finges against her leg as she waits. (I'm tempted to have you make a mind roll.) (Who me?) (It's all for the sake of good clean fun and Fanservice!) 2d8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Arisa (2d8) and gets 4. (Sorry boys. She made that pretty good. ^_^;) [Boy, did she! Arisa wonders a bit how it's going to hold, but it does!] (Such is life.) * Arisa comes back, smoothing it out a little, still blushing, turning to expose her slightly freckled back and the rest of her from all angles. "How do I look?" [Frubi claps happily. "Oh, you're a natural! It's like you were born to wear a Gul'tari!" Julie smiles happily and says, "Um... I like it."] * Taki eyes Arisa critcaly, "Good enough for having saved the world." * Arisa pouts as she looks at Taki, keeping her hands holding the ribbons. "Would you quit reminding me? It's embarrassing enough already..." [Frubi looks at Arisa and says, warily, "You don't have to hold it up, dearie. That whole... chest area makes it easier for humans."] * Arisa sighs and goes back to get her scythe, looking over her shoulder and trying to figure a way to tie it on too. * Taki shrugs. (Well, you're going to end up with wood against skin, of course, and it is a bit of a heavy weight. Frubi looks at you and says, "You can't carry weapons in a gul'tari!"] ["Well, nothing that big."] * Arisa pouts. "But I always have it with me. You never know...besides, it's not a proper weapon. I just use it to cut herbs...well, mostly." Go get something smaller, they arn't going to run away with it, and a few hours is a short definition of always. * Arisa furrows her brow and looks at Taki. "Well it's not like I expected to arrive nuh-nuh-naked at all." I...I mean my other self...she always has it with her. Go. * Arisa pouts. "If you insist I go, I'm keeping it." * Taki facepalms (They brood, and blush! And brood and blush and kill! The Taki and Arisa Shooooooow!) (Who'd have thought getting ready for a party would have been so involved? ^_^; Ah character nuances, how I love thee.) (...I just pictured Taki and Arisa as Squall and Leona, I'm going to have to kill somebody now, but I'm not sure who to start with.) (Heh.) [Frubi smiles a little and says, "Well, maybe Julie can carry it for you." Julie jumps: She was looking at the strappy dress. "Um? Yes! Sure. If you want."] (Er, strike the first Julie and put in Jul'pmak'guby) * Arisa looks at Julie and gives her an odd pained, mulling over expression. "I--I guess..." She doesn't sound too happy but resigned to her fate. [Frubi nods. "Well, then, that makes it easy." She looks up at something on a wall and mms. "I should really at least show you all to your room."] * Taki picks up her latest axe, "lead on." * Arisa follows, picking her scythe up and holding it out to Julie. [Julie blinks, and then takes Arisa's scythe quickly, and after a second, just holds it in her hands.] [Frubi, meawhile, leads on! Out, but not into the main room, but instead into a back hallway.] * Arisa keeps watching Julie for a moment, keeping a steady Look (TM) on her face, then reluctantly goes after Frubi * Taki follows Frubi into the hall. [Julie follows, holding the scythe carefully in front of her.] (Arisa has acquired one (1) Page.) (Snicker.) (But you have to give her back when she gets the plot classpromotion to queen) (Haw.) [Frubi leads you to a room. It's a fairly sized room... not much in it. A dresser or three, and a big bed. You would call it double-and-a-half-queen sized.] * Arisa whistles as she reaches the room. "Now this is impressive. I've never slept in something like this back in my world." [Frubi looks at it and smiles faintly. "We always wanted another child, but Hui was all we ever had. So the bed is big enough for many of you."] * Taki eyes the bed, (which is lager than her room. ;_;) and then her roommates. * Arisa doesn't eye Taki! She's too busy being amazed by the bed. I would rather not share a bed if that could be arranged. [Frubi looks over at Taki, then looks at the bed, then looks at Taki, then makes a hrming noise.] * Arisa blinks at Taki. "Common rooms at inns are worse. They smell too." I would not know. [Julie mms, and says, "I do not need a bed... at least, not one like that. If that's what's bothering you, I can sleep on a heat stone."] * Taki shakes her head, "That is not the problem. Where I am from...sharing a bed is only common between people who are married. Or do not have enough space for all their children." There is no lack of space in this room, and I am not married to either of you. [Julie and Frubi both go, "... ah."] Welll...obviously not... * Arisa thinks about that. "...I can sleep on the floor. It's no problem." [Frubi makes a small hrming noise, and then walks over to the bed, and starts feeling around the footboard. Which is like the headboard but at the other end.] [Frubi ahs! "I couldn't remember if we had gotten it split or not." She presses hard against the stone 'board', and a loud stone 'groaning' is heard for a split second.] * Taki watches Frubi, "What was that?" [Frubi turns back and says, "It's a trivial matter, for us, to make stone furniture that can change. And since we are good at manipulating stone..." she picks up the mattress, and shoves the now three matressless beds (each nearly but not quite a queen) are pushed apart by Frubi.] (Still bigger than her room!) Thank you. That's rather useful.. [Frubi nods, and then says, still holding the mattress up, "But the matresses are unable to be split." She turns towards Julie. "One of those should do for you, I'd think?" She nods.] (I've gotta go to bed, now. Not gonna be able to make it a moment longer) [Frubi walks out of the room with her mattress! Everyone else gets a possible final pose. Julie just goes over to a bed, slams onto it hard, and smiles in satisfaction. "Perfect."] * Taki lifts up her axe and eyes one of the blades, "Just a bit longer." * Arisa walks over to test the bed, then smiles. "It'll do fine, thank you." (My precioussss pointies.) (It's matressless, Arisa. And Frubi's gone.) [Arisa thanks the air! Nobody looks at her funny, though. At least, any funnier than you already look at someone looking like they got cut off in the middle of a henshin sequence. TGWNN Session 2: End!]
