ChibiRPG:
Introduction

If you've played an RPG before, you know the drill... The players and the GM interact to tell a story, and have a good time doing so. Each player chooses what to do, the GM figures out the results, and things proceed from there.

Chibi RPG is a system designed for anime-style roleplaying via IRC. It's designed to be streamlined, simple, and above all, fun. It isn't very realistic, it isn't very detailed, and it isn't even entirely generic. It's CHIBI, y'know?

Actual adventures are as varied and random as the people playing and running them. Generally, you'll start up a new channel (so as not to spam the main IRC channels) and someone will GM. Take your actions and speak in character, trying to keep non-game chatter to a minimum.

One of the more interesting ideas Chibi RPG was designed with in mind (but which you are not obligated to ues), is the idea of rotating GMs. After a certain number of encounters or turns, after a set amount of time, or even with each new session, one of the players will GM, and the former GM will step into the game. The GM can either take over for the new GM's character, or just run his own character as an NPC... the exacts of it are up to the group.

Just remember, if you forget all other rules, remember this one: Have Fun!
